Prineville Lions Club celebrated our 70th anniversary on September 28th!! Our Charter year was 1938.
We had a wonderfull celebration dinner on Oct. 17th with keynote speaker Mary Jane from Donate Life NW. We also had Dee Stubblefield (Governor of District G), and dignitaries from other districts attend. There was a very powerfull speach from Bryan, an organ recipient, and his mother Pat, with a mom's perspective on dealing with the health issues of her adolescent children and her son's eventual transplant and recovery. It was held at Meadow Lakes Restaurant on Oct 17th at 6:00pm. We would like to thank all that attended and helped with our program. We are always looking for some good ideas for fund raisers. If you know of a project or have any thoughts on this please let us know. Remember..... we are here to "Serve". If you or someone you know is in need of sight or hearing assistance just let us know and we will try to help.
